Where Are Investors Putting Their Money?
July brought an interesting development in Indian mutual funds.
Equity fund inflows remained positive overall, but large-cap funds saw outflows while small- and mid-cap categories attracted stronger flows.
This tells us something important:
Investor appetite can change quickly across market segments.
But strong inflows into a category don't automatically mean that category is suitable for every investor.
